Abrahim Simmonds is prolific youth leader from the parish of St. Mary. He is the founding director of JAYECAN. He attained a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of the West Indies in 2016 and a Master of Science in Health Informatics at Swansea University in the United Kingdom.

Alex Sterling is a founder of JAYECAN who pioneered several projects including the iconic Youth Empowerment Awards. A graduate of the University of Technology, Alex demonstrates an unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, social development and collective action.

Brittany Brown
Brittany Brown is a passionate 25 year old who believes in giving hope to the hopeless. She is currently working in the tourism industry as a Digital and Public Relations Coordinator but dedicates her spare time towards finding solutions to assist persons living in vulnerable communities and solving issues affecting Jamaica.

Shakira Bennett
Shakira Bennett aged 22 is currently the Programmes Director for JAYECAN. She is currently a student at The University of the West Indies pursuing a degree in Psychology and minor in integrated Marketing and Communications

Brithney Clarke
Brithney Clarke is a 22 year old media professional, employed as the Online Reporter/Producer at Nationwide News Network. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communications from the UWI, Mona Campus.
